Formed to spread a message through a form of music they love and through their lifestyles, the Pleasant Noise (name based
on a quote from the movie "Basquiat" [a film about the life of 80's abstract artist, Jean-Michel Basquiat] ) is poised to
tackle tough issues many Christian bands shy away from (gun control, war, etc.). Their hardcore sound has resulted from writing
what comes out rather than trying to strive for a sound as well as having a natural evolution from where they were stylistically
in their former project, last-won-first. While trying to keep an emphasis on putting on the best live show possible, they
are also more concerned about song structure and tightness than they ever were in former bands, making an overall pleasing
experience for audiences who are willing to take the hardcore. Their Christian-posi-political-sXe-introspective lyrics might
push some away, but for all who are open minded, an invitation for love and sharing is all they are offering through their
music/lyrics.
